Unified Marking System for Rosneft-Lubricants

Challenge/Problem

A major oil manufacturer needed to implement product marking at three production sites simultaneously.

The solution had to operate 24/7, withstand an oily environment, accommodate warehouse specifics, and integrate with robotic equipment. It was essential to ensure end-to-end traceability from individual products to pallets without reducing line productivity.

Solution

We implemented a client-server hardware-software complex for item-level and group accounting of production.

The system covers the complete cycle — from code ordering in Chestny ZNAK to application, reading, aggregation, and interaction with the robotic palletizing station.

The solution is adapted to security and virtual infrastructure requirements at the client's sites.

Key features:

  1. Unified marking system for 3 production sites
  2. Full cycle: from code ordering to pallet aggregation
  3. Integration with a robot-palletizer controller
  4. Minimized manual labor at group accounting
  5. Adaptation for secure virtual infrastructure
Results
  • Automated marking at all production sections
  • Rolled out the solution at 3 key enterprise sites
  • Reduced human factor in pallet aggregation
  • Created transparent traceability from product unit to pallet
  • Integrated marking with real production and warehouse processes

Technical details:

  1. The solution includes equipment for applying and accounting for codes at item and group stages, server logic for code management, and integration with the palletizer.
  2. Special focus on security and IT infrastructure requirements at production sites.
